To perform its functions, the Detention Tracker Add-on requests certain permissions regarding your Google Workspace applications. These permissions are only exercised while you are actively using the Add-on and the data accessed is not stored or transferred anywhere outside of your own Google account. The specific permissions and their usage are as follows:

• View and manage your forms in Google Drive: The Add-on uses this permission to view and manage your Google Forms.
• See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets: This permission allows the Add-on to modify Google Sheets to log and process necessary data.
• See, edit, share, and permanently delete all the calendars you can access using Google Calendar: This permission is necessary for the Add-on to manage your calendar events.
• Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications: The Add-on uses this permission to provide a rich user interface within Google applications.
• Allow this application to run when you are not present: This permission enables the Add-on to automate tasks even when you are not actively using Google Workspace.
• Send email as you: The Add-on uses this permission to send automated emails on your behalf.
• See your primary Google Account email address: The Add-on requires this permission to identify your account.

The Detention Tracker Add-on's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
